Getting to San Sebastián by Bus

 
The bus ride to San Sebastián from Puerto Vallarta is just over 2 hours and costs about $60 pesos. Take the "Talpa de Allende", or "Mascota" bus from Puerto Vallarta and purchase tickets to get off at La Estancia. The bus doesn't actually go into San Sebastián, but rather continues on to the towns of Mascota and Talpa. Since the bus drops you off at the turn off for San Sebastián, you will have to grab a cab, or hitch a 15 min ride into town, but don't worry, everyone is very friendly and it won't be long before a willing ride comes along.

The bus ride is about 2 hours and you can purchase bus tickets right at the bus before you board.

ATM, or the "Red Line" bus to "Talpa de Allende" leaves 3 times daily from the corner of calle Harve & calle Lucerna. Map
